Training and Development
The training and development of all our pub staff starts from day one with the induction programme. Throughout your career with Belhaven Pubs you will be given the tools to perform in this highly competitive environment, whether it's legislative courses such as the Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (SCPLH) or personal development skills such as managing people. For those individuals who want to progress their career there is the opportunity to complete the Management Development Programme which is a vehicle for assistant managers to take the next step into managing their own pub.
For pub management staff who are keen to progress to Head Office roles, we have lots of opportunities. Many of our Area Managers, stocktakers, catering & recruitment teams have at some time in their career been Pub Managers. In fact, all our Directors began their careers pulling pints!
